Meet The Team

Executive Director

Chroma (Tyler) Kensinger (He/Him/Any)

Leading the charge at QueerSpace Gaming is our Executive Director, Chroma. A self-proclaimed "Super Geek" with over two decades of gaming experience, Chroma's passion for fostering an inclusive and vibrant queer gaming community is the driving force behind our organization. Currently studying game development and working as a Recreation Instructor for the City of Los Angeles, he brings a unique blend of creative vision and community-building expertise. When not envisioning the future of QueerSpace Gaming, you might find Chroma crafting intricate Magic: The Gathering decks, exploring diverse PC game worlds, or perhaps engaging in some enlightening AI therapy (he’s a bit obsessed with artificial intelligence).

Vice Chair & Treasurer

Ulisses Chavez-Espino (He/Him)

Meet Uli, our Vice Chair & Treasurer, and as our own Chroma would say, "The Trixie to their Katya"! Beyond being a fantastic partner in leading QueerSpace Gaming, Uli is the steady hand ensuring our financial health and strategic growth. A dedicated family man, he masterfully balances his community commitments with his love for diving deep into the world of Teyvat in Genshin Impact. You might also find him strategizing in League of Legends, teaming up in Marvel Rivals, or escaping the Entity in Dead By Daylight. Uli is committed to fostering a supportive and fun environment for all our members.

Director of Governance & Inclusion

Jacob Williams (He/Him)

Meet Jake, our Director of Governance & Inclusion, affectionately known to many as Jakey! Fueled by what he playfully calls "JDHD," Jakey brings an Energizer Bunny-level of enthusiasm to ensuring QueerSpace Gaming is a well-run, safe, and truly welcoming space for everyone. His passion for inclusion is infectious, and while he's diligently working on our governance, don't be surprised if you hear him quoting SpongeBob or bursting into song – there's always a melody playing in his head! Jakey's vibrant spirit is key to keeping our community positive and engaged.
